    Sunderland - lost - draw
    Portsmouth - draw - draw
    Charlton - lost - won
    Donny ?? - draw - draw

Good job we did the business with the other 19 teams.

But we did beat Peterborough if they'd made it through

    And only won one.
    8 points out of a possible 24

V Luton ...win and a draw

I reckon all the top six are similar in this respect.

We did beat Peterborough at home and Fleetwood away, results Sunderland and Pompey would have loved on Tuesday.

I think some of them were pretty unlucky.

We should’ve beaten Sunderland & Portsmouth at home & you could argue should’ve beaten Sunderland away, barring a mad 10 minutes we were the better team by far.

Although we were very lucky to get a point down at Portsmouth

My original post was not meant to be negative.
I could have posted, other than those 8 games we have obtained 83 points from the other 37 matches at an average of 2.24 points per game which is very impressive.

Portsmouth was my least favourite choice of play off opponent after our away match there but I think we could beat any one of those teams easily in our current form.

Usually we do well against top teams & struggle versus bottom ones. We've bucked that trend this season.
I think also we've hung in & got a result, where in the past we have been out muscled (a bit like Pompey were
    on Tuesday).

Results in the league are not always repeated in the playoffs, as teams adjust tactics to make up for previous failings.

Still relieved we got automatic though!

On the flip the side they weren't beating us and wouldn't relish playing us in the play-offs either. Two defeats both away from home whilst we were out of sorts.
