I can't even begin to fathom how abhorrent the Thai women's team must be. I reckon Kexborough Chiefs under elevens reserves would beat them. How can this be considered top level sport?
Yes but the Thai women kicked the **** out of them after, they didn't realise they had turned up for football.
Strange that a country that usually abhors “running up the score” has just absolutely battered another team without much mercy.
Conan doesn't like women's football. He doesn't think it much good. So why does he keep commenting about it?
As for Gordon's gratuitously repugnant post about Thai women.. maybe he is speaking from experience and is one of the ugly Barnsley blokes who visit the country to exploit the poverty of the locals.
Total mismatch. Nowt to do with the USA 'strength in depth', that the co-commentator kept talking about as they made their changes - the yanks could have played all the 2nd half with 9 men and still won comfortably, such was the poor quality of opposition. I know you can only beat what's in front of you, but to celebrate every goal like it was a last minute final winner makes for uncomfortable viewing. I'm not feeling the love for women's football. I can't watch it without making comparisons, and it doesn't compare favourably in any way from what I can see.
Thai boxing l was referring to owd ****, l'm quite pretty actually, you'd be shocked - probably fancy me in fact.
Brazil 1-7 Germany - World Cup Semi-finals. In Brazil. Kexbrough Chiefs could have beat Brazil. Obviously.
The way Marcelo and David Luiz abandoned all notion of defending from the first whistle that night, they'd have had a chance.
A couple of years ago the USA women's national side were beaten by an U15 boys team, 5-2. For me that shows the quality.
Shush.. don't spoil the illusion You'll be saying that football aid is 5hite next.. The mere thought..
Had a little Twitter spat with Leon Knight about this - he said that woman footballers were no better at football than 6 year old boys. I reminded him of his successful spell at Barnsley - he replied his head was frazzled after leaving Swansea - bless
Women's football as a global game is in its infancy. There's bound to be major differences between nations with professional leagues and those who have extremely limited resources. Maybe they should just stop? Pack it all in. Or maybe you let them get on with developing their game, watch if you want, don't watch if you don't like it. Easy.
It's not something I'm particularly arsed about watching but as the profile of it grows the quality will improve. It's a bit like the rugby union world cup. There are a handful of teams that used to get pummelled by ridiculous scores but I think that's reduced somewhat. May be wrong, more a league man myself.
