If we get another injury upfront in the next few weeks which isn’t inconceivable based on how much work Woodrow is currently having to do we are going to be screwed.

 

It is relevant though because we could have brought a mido or Frimpong in on decent money that would have disrupted what we are trying to build, especially if Moore hadn’t gotten injured and they were on the bench and farting about in training. The good thing about our set up which I love is that we haven’t got any loans or journeymen pinching a place.
Would I have liked a top drawer replacement for our forwards on the right money with the right attitude when he wouldn’t be playing that enhanced the team with a positive impact? Yes
Can I think of one who would come only to be on the bench and dropped at the end of the season? No and perhaps the club couldn’t find one either

 

Don't know our price range, im also not a scout or privy to which players are available. The player we wanted is on loan at Bradford, maybe we could have got a loan. As I say we made the choice to go with just in August and I was surprised we made it again in Jan.

 

I thought he did OK.

 

We have a spreadsheet plus, plus, as i said in previous post pompy brought 6 loans in.
The point is, it can be done. We just didn't fancy bringing one in for the now, which imho is a massive oversight for a team chasing promotion.
If Woodrow gets injured we are screwed.

 

Completely agree. I hate cheating but other teams do every week and the refs are so poor they buy it. We must get wise to it

 

The lad is nowhere near good enough, but apparently it was a choice between him and Antoine Griezmann as they are the only two strikers in the world. We went with Victor unfortunately.
