I hope he plays 40+ games and bangs in 20+ goals, as he will be coming back to us next summer for the final year of his contract.
Just watched the highlights. Max looked very lively and might have had a couple more. On the downside of things, the defending looked absolutely rancid from both sides - so much time and space given in the box, a lot of indecision. Not sure how representative that is of the overall standard. Went to Hearts v Aberdeen a couple of years ago and would have rated it as top half League 1. Stendel or Hecky's side would have beaten either. Clark's team would have probably lost to Hearts and possibly drawn with Aberdeen.
