I did make a similar point yesterday. I reckon if we paid £2 million for a player who looked very hit and miss in the Championship then this place would be in absolute meltdown!
I don't agree.. I think this is at best hearsay and soon forgotten. If you come out in official channels and state your intention transfer wise, then all that may do is put the price up if clubs think you are desperate to appease fans. Cards close to chest time.. and see who comes in, between now and the end of Jan. The standard or signing of Dougal Bahre and Woodrow has been excellent tbh..
Callum O hare from Villa keeps getting mentioned on a couple of media sources and it seems Villa are eager to Loan him out. Could be summat in it. Villa fans rate him but accept he needs some first team football.
Give up, the arch window was rubbish, never closed (down) properly, always left himself wide open, can’t believe he was favoured over the square window, complete waste of a frame.
I thought we had given up the awful loan habit unless we had intention of signing the player? Far sooner buy or work with our own.
Im not against Loaning players. We wouldnt have gone up a couple a year ago without the help of loan players. Portsmouth seem to be utilising the loan market well. If its the right loan that benefits us more than the parent club, and the players are better than the ones we have to come in, then I think it works.
we sold teh square window at a profit and then bought the Arch window. The window fitter never even had a say in it.
I agree entirely. Sure, we want to be developing our own players but if the loan market allows us to have players we simply couldn’t afford to improve our team and therefore, promotion chances, why not?
Raheem Stirling applauded the fans with a tear in his eye.... maybe he’s coming over the Penines to us?
