Why we have played one up top quite often why have 4 strikers fighting for one space

    Have you ever seen football???
One up top - because we haven't a striker that enables two to play up top - i.e. a big foooker

We have Bradshaw, Ugbo and Thiam, along with Brown when he gets back fit and Louis Rowe from the youth team who's very highly rated as well as the young lad on trial, ex-Orient who's banging them in for the U23's, if we were going to get a striker other than McBurnie we would have and I'm not very keen
No but no one we've been after is either, maybe hinting the manager doesn't want one?

If we're sticking with one up front all season then we're fine. Three strikers plus Hedges who I reckon could be a decent frontman. However, if we want the flexibility to go 4-4-2, which I really hope we do, then we could do with another. We still haven't got a proper target man either, which could pose a problem if we need to hold the ball up away from home especially. If Thiam is more of a winger-come-striker, I think it's asking a lot of Ugbo and Bradshaw to shoot us through until January.

Why is it assumed big strikers are good at holding it up?

If Wilfried Bony goes back to Swansea, will that trigger the McBurnie deal? It might well be so. Let's hope it gets across the line quickly enough, or has it all been a bluff?

But if Llorente goes to Spurs, surely he'd still be back up? Who knows? Ignore that, just been remidned of Tammy Abraham!

    McBurnie will be here.

Pictures have been leaked of Llorente in a Spurs shirt and Sky have confirmed that Bony will be signing for Swansea subject to a medical which is ongoing.

The deal for McBurnie is done and is pending awaiting the resolution of Bony's move.

Because we don't currently have two midfielders who can handle playing in a two

But hecky has had all summer to sort that problem out. 1 up top with moncur getting forward and Williams in the defensive role worked well Saturday.

Of course we need at least one more striker. Daft to think otherwise.
