We won today and Potts didn't play

    Dunt know abart tongue in cheek I think some had it way on reight up in there, proper arse licking him.

    Part of the issue.

    He was often played out wide. Just so he was on the pitch.

    It completely unbalanced the team.

    Now in the middle. Different kettle of fish.

    I think we’re better with him in the side as he gives us something our other midfielders do not. However of course he has his limitations, he wouldn’t be here if he didn’t have any.

    The Potts and points thing is tongue in cheek though.

    You're spot on Neil, at championship level he was ineffective on the wing.

    He was and at the start of the season he was poor in general but really improved. Became a scapegoat for many though and that really annoyed me last season. The number of games where those around me were straight onto Potts but not others.
    Ineffective is a great word to sum up a lot of our players last season. Bradshaw, Thiam, Hammill, Williams, Moncur, Ugbo, Lindsay and so on.

    Potts and Davies in particular were blamed by a vocal few which was ludicrous because anyone with eyes could see that whole team were to blame. It's pleasing to see that Potts is now getting the recognition he deserves.
