Not that I am piling pressure on the lad but there are similarities in his playing style. Strong runs from midfield, scores plenty of goals. Let's just hope though that Christoph gets up to speed a bit quicker than Ronnie did because we are in desperate need of some results now.

Trouble is that he is coming into a stronger league than he is used to and will have to get used to playing in front of big crowds. Despite what the idiots on the Admira board said last week, Barnsley is a MUCH bigger club than theirs.

He’ll be excellent if he’s one tenth as good as The Great Man

    We can but hope!

Hopefully a full week will help new boys settle in, potentially Isgrove back.

Mahoney and Isgrove on wings with McBurnie up front for me. With Williams and Gardner either side of Moncur/Mallan or this new fella. Got to try something as we haven’t looked likely to score since last January.

A game we should have won, but perhaps came a few days too early for McBurnie, Mahoney, Knasmüllner and Isgrove.

Beating the wendies would be a lovely tonic and hopefully kick start some better results.

Well done to Townsend today. I know we conceded with their first shot on target, but sounds like he pulled off a couple of good saves at the end.

Edit: actually. One of either Williams or Gardner with two from Mallan/Moncur or new fella either side. It’s wednesday. Let’s attack them and batter them.

We look a lot more threatening with isgrove in the team but he’s only made 9 appearances this season. It will be like a new signing if we get him playing from now till end of season.

Very true and you could argue that his absence has cost us a load of points this season
