    Twoz more of a case of sticking 2 fingers up at the racists and nice to see BFC entering the 21st century in regards of managerial appointments in my opinion.

    Been out with Paul the last 2 Saturdays and I can guarantee he hasn't a racist bone in his body.

    And yes he had been in the pub last night so may not have worded things as well as he may have liked....they have some good beers on in the Market :p

    Yours was much worse, it was outright malicious whereas I think Mr C's was a misguided attempt at humour and showed no hostility. It was still wrong and deserved to be deleted, but it was nowhere near what you posted.

    It was a clear joke. People took it the wrong way, but it was an intentionally ironic post.

    I agree it was extremely distasteful, but people missed the context completely.

    I've met Paul as well on the back of him doing some art as well. Yes he's a lovely bloke, but like me (and many other people) he does like a drink. Only he will know if it was a misguided attempt at humour or not. I know my sense of humour is not to everyone's taste (not that I'm attempting to absolve him of criticism for the post) Maybe just like drinking and driving people shouldn't drink and post on here.

    You can't beat a good post or two after a few good beers, its what Friday and/Satdy nights are all about.
    However, this wasn't a good post and the bloke should be embarrassed for creating it, once his hangover clears up of course!.
    I was the first in the thread to bring up the fact that we did once appoint Viv Anderson, and I told him that the B word he used was totally inappropriate. But it all seemed to go way over his head.
    Ok I hope it was just a poorly thought out drunken attempt at humour after all, and its a good thing that its been deleted.

    This forum is easily accessible by anyone irrespective of whether they’re members or not. It was a ridiculous and quite frankly disgusting post that’s being explained away by people that personally know the guy. For people like me who don’t know him and viewed the post objectively it simply came across as aforementioned. I’m sure that’s how anyone else would’ve read it as well. That sort of thing just drags the board and its members down.

    That bugs me as well when somebody tries to defend something bad and awful, by claiming its not like him and hes not that sort of person etc.
    But fair enough he might be regretting it now, and it has been deleted after all.
