We shouldn't be offering them tickets, poor sods will have suffered enough.

They have accepted a kind offer from George Spicer to deliver olives to the needy.

While I agree it's great that Watford have offered their ground for NHS use, I think we need to be careful not to expect private companies to step in.

Companies should do so because they want to and they have the capacity to help, not due to pressure from customers.

I've probably worded that poorly, but it makes sense in my head.

Bit disappointed at George’s no show actually. Now is the time for natural leaders to come to the fore to remind us of the good stuff like appreciating the daffodils!
And if it comes to that, now would be a good time for Adam to return from anonymity, the country needs his innovative thinking more than ever!

They’re all employees of a non essential business. So, like many of us, will have been sent home to isolate for a number of weeks subject to review.
The media team are sending out the odd bits. But, really, what can we expect from them when they are effectively closed for business?
Would expect the playing staff have fitness regimes to follow at home, but football is suspended, along with pubs, hair cuts etc...

I think I read somewhere that Watford’s ground is right next door to the hospital so is very convenient.

Our ground isn’t ours to offer to others.

They dont need to do owt, they've shut the ground and that's enough.

More important things to worry about than trying to knock the club at the minute.

There's examples of football clubs doing volunteer work to help the community in various ways. I think that's what the OP is driving at.

I thought Barnsley council and the Cryne family owned the ground, so it's up to them if should be offerd to be used for the present virus troubles.

Ancelotti and the players at Everton are ringing up season ticket holders particularly the more elderly ones, to check that things are OK. Chelsea is opening up their hotel to the NHS. And believe it or not Jose M was on TV this morning doing 'community service' with 'Help the Aged'.

I heard that they have opened up their medical rooms for emergency purposes.
Problem is that in one of them they found Phil Gridelet. They hope he will soon be back in training.
