Shows what a superb Hecky and the team are doing. I'd argue we've actually got a better squad than last season in terms of depth, but perhaps not quite as much individual quality, although can't be too far off. Winnall only had 4 goals this time last season, how many goals had Hourihane had a hand in? Perhaps 10 (a complete guess), but not many more than Barnes I bet

Winnall went off injured in the first game at Ipswich and missed a fair few games and was on the bench when he first came back while he built fitness so that's a bit misleading

But tbf Winnall started pretty much every game when fit. Even this season Bradshaw's not started every game, like on Tuesday. Bet he's got a better minute-to-goal ratio than Winnall at this time

Would take more effort than I can muster on a Sunday morning to look into that. He possibly does and he does seem to be getting better. Again though 2 in cup against lower league opposition and 2 goals that I personally don't think we're his. Everything is subjective. Winnall for me is still a better goal scorer than Bradshaw. But if Bradshaw can keep it up then I'll reconsider my view point!

noticeable in that table, top 3 went up, Huddersfield had minus goal difference then, and bottom 3 went down

Didn't Huddersfield take a tonking in one match which destroyed their goal difference? Maybe v Fulham?

I'm not sure but since leaving bfc January winnall has scored about 5 goals at 2 clubs, he also has a face like a rat. I think I can maintain my winnall grudge for a long time yet, I wouldn't have him back if he paid us.

Bradshaw this season ( if he stays fit or doesn't lose his place to a January signed striker) will score more goals in the championship than winnall will ever score at this level in any season and I would have a charity bet on that. I can see Bradshaw getting 20 this season and winnowt won't get 20 games per season and won't be in the championship after next season because of his rat like features and personality

This season Winnall has 5 in 10 appearances

    Bradshaw 6 in 15 appearances.

Just cos he’s a **** doesn’t mean he’s not good at his job.

Winnall is an arsehole of a bloke but he’s a good striker at this level, no point suggesting otherwise.

Bradshaw is the most improved player in the squad after a very quiet first season. Doesn’t start every game and is often toiling up front on his own when he does, so 9 from 18, admittedly with a few against weaker sides in the cup and a couple that are questionable (the boro one is a joke to be fair, I was as close to it as him in my seat) is nonetheless a great return.

He’s more suited to a 2 - but most forwards are. The side plays better with the 4-5-1 or 4-1-4-1 if you prefer to call it that, and he’s improving week on week in that role up top.

I fancy him to get twenty in all comps, fifteen or so league goals unless he loses his place after January. Not too shabby at all.

We had one more point after 15 games last season, given the squad overhaul that is impressive I think. I also think we are unlikely to lose many players this January unlike last season, if anything improving the squad.

Yes we sit lower part of the table, but as close in points to the top six as we are the bottom three.

We’re doing fine thank you very much.

You could argue that this season has been an even better effort considering the overhaul of players and lack of time to gel. It was largely the wonderful pre-christmas run last season that saw us knocking on the door of the top 6 in January. Let's hope we can get a good few wins again this time and be comfortably mid table for when the Janurary madness begins. Some shrewd business during that month could see us have a good second half of the season.

The exciting thing is I think we will only continue to get better this season. Where as last term we petered out alarmingly with nothing really to play for, coupled with a sense of the main prize being lost (play off push)... this season I see us gradually getting better and stronger and hopeful finishing really well.

I think this window could have the opposite effect to the last one. We may lose Yiadom but we've already got good cover there.

I fancy January will strengthen rather than weaken us.

Depends if we've been took over, January's could be completely different.

I think Winnall probably is, yes, but Bradshaw's having a fine season nonetheless and it would be great if he could get to 20 goals

Bradshaw has had a good start & is a key part of the team.
When we play 1 up, he is only one of 4-5 players with a chance of scoring, as it is the fluidity of how we play.
His goal return is important, but not the most important thing, which is the team scoring.
