Hello Bluebird Yes I have had the 'pleasure' of visiting Cardiff on several occasions. Let's just say, I won't be in rush to go again. Not a fantastic advertisement for Wales in my opinion. Great country, not a great capital city!!
Apart from Millwall it depends on who’s in charge etc of certain clubs at differing times . I didn’t like Wolves when McGhee was in charge but ok when Macca took over . Never bothered about Allerdyces teams . Think Warnock gets a bad deal from some imo . He never gets clubs with big budgets and he plays teams to their strengths wouldn’t have minded him in charge of us at times in the past . It was painful watching us under Robins even though we weren’t struggling but that’s my opinion I know some loved him . I feel sorry for the genuine Millwall fans as they have the idiots following them on certain games and then the wannabes who feel they have to uphold the reputation but are just numpties .
Apart from the obvious local rivals Leeds Wednesday, Blunts etc. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned West Ham. Who never seem to fall foul of FA rules. Effectively have been given a public asset and have their security heavily subsidised, and only seem to have got a slap on the wrist for Tevez, the recent pitch invasions etc. Talk about friends in high places. Apart from Millwawl no other club would have been allowed to get away with such subsidies and misdemeanours.
Got a good kicking at home to Grimsby once. Couple of nervy experiences away. Bloody hell the thought of Grimsby v Millwall.
Think it was 1919 not 2019. But it does make you wonder what each club would have been like if we had taken our rightfull place in the top division Imagine Oakwell as Barnsley Emirates Stadium?
