    If they do exist if you can only obtain them by getting relegated they are rewards for failure. You can literally only receive them for failing. In terms of the premier League the fact you receive less for failure is irrelevant you still receive money for an extended period as a result of being relegated.

    Aye the basic award I’ve heard of. It’s about 2 million quid in the Championship (so if you get relegated you get about 200 grand for 1 season) I knew you got a percentage of that for the season after relegation. I didn’t know they had rebranded this parachute payments. This has always existed. Clubs that got relegated from the old Football League used to get it.
