Even if that were true then it still wouldn't make the poll meaningless. What it would mean would be that Danny would have been sacked against the considered judgement of over 80% of the respondees.
In for the moment but only just. Another defeat is certain at MK and then we've Port Vale & Oldham at home. We need to win at least one of those or his job deserves to be on the line.
Irrelevant Results and performances speak volumes far more than polls on here involving a handful of fans. If the poll had 5000 fans opinions it would carry far more creedence
There's absolutely no sense whatsoever in sacking Danny now. We've given him the resources to build a squad so why on earth would we get shut midway through his 2nd window of building. As for all this nonsense about relegation, there's no coincidence in the fact that we've beaten the majority of teams below us. It can't be easy having to make 4 changes per game due to injury. If we can get a settled team, we'll pick up points again. IN! I'm on Tapatalk so I can't see any sort of pole on this thread.
The forum is read by the Cryne family, and Ben Mansford amongst others. Which is why I create a poll now and again. Because if I didn't, they'd read the forum and see mountains of posts (from a minority of posters) suggesting we sack the manager. Again. The poll speaks for itself. 100 votes, 82% in favour of retaining our current manager. You'd be doing the fandango were the results t'other way around...
I'm with you, Comrade. Seriously. I won't defend him if we all of a sudden lose every game badly. I'm not thick. But we've won 2 from the last 4, scored 4, conceded 2. Hardly sackable is it?
No it's not. We just need to see some progress and less of the crap like yesterday. I've usually been able to take some positives even from bad days but there are none from yesterday. For me we went for a point and that was pathetic
Sad to read that, mate. We'd just entered Teeside when I got the team news and I was puzzled to see Berry and Hourihane back together in the middle and no place for Digby or Scowen. Perhaps Danny had his reasons, I dunno. But judging the outcome on the thoughts of those who attended, I'd suggest we probably lost the game again in no small part because we're weak as piss in midfield, our wingers aren't great and we've no real leaders or experience in there. If we recruit another couple of kids this week even I'll be scratching my head. Crying out for an old head or two.
I just don't think they are out there or at least on our price range And let's face it, the experienced players we have brought in have been largely gash with the exception of Ramage
