    We're thinking of going down the Ireland route, as I'm not jumping through the British hoops on principle as much as anything so disgusting are the rules. What's it like for work there? From what I can see a lot of tech companies are there, and whilst my background is not in computers, they do from time to time require Russian speakers to work in fraud detection which I do have experience in, albeit many years ago. Overall though salaries don't look particularly tempting, and I know that property is very expensive in Dublin at least However, it still beats being humiliated by my own government to prove and pay a fortune for the "right" to live in my own country. As for the Russians? For around a hundred quid, a few Soviet style queues, a couple of grand in the bank, some stupid forms and a leprosy test, I was given permanent residency, purely on the grounds of me having a child with a Russian passport. No matter that she's also got a British one, Russia respects all international conventions on the "right to a family life". I could also have applied on the grounds of marriage, but this was simpler. Puts our government to shame.

    Aye The Blarite red tories our in force while a government that promotes and institutionalises racism hides behind the right wing press. Funny old world where Boris who goes on about picannines and watermelon smiles pontificates about anti racism and on protest marches Norman tebbitbturns up.

    You’ve never tried it so how would your u know you just spew out the same old tired tropes passed down to you by the right wing press. I can point you to some interesting journal articles on anti semitism if you really have any interest in discussing it.

    In any other country in Europe the Labour Party would be considered to be a centre party. It's only because of the right wing media that it's not in this country. Name me one policy in the manifesto that would be considered extreme left anywhere else in Europe. It's because the EU is so pro people that we are leaving it.
