No but then I never said they did. I've criticised both in this thread

Read the post I made, the rules aren’t even difficult to find, the amounts aren’t difficult to calculate, there’s even online calculators if you’re really happy to spend 10 minutes.
It’s not rocket science, and plenty of us know the facts. There’s no mystery to be found.
‘Unemployment’ doesn’t give you enough money to live off. For further info, slowly read my previous post.

My brother and his Wife, live in a privately rented 3 bedroom house, have a brand new car and openly boast that they have between £3-4K a month coming in.
His Wife is proud of the fact she has never worked a day in her life.

Are you actually saying that they make that £3-4k a month from the state? They could pull in a lot more than that if they sold their secret, as anybody who's ever had to claim would tell you. Maybe that's too much like hard work for them!

Again; people who chuck about numbers like this and miss out all the relevant details really do us all a disservice.
Never having worked and being unemployed are not the same thing. ;)

And if they really are that close to you; you’ll know more details that would clear up any ambiguity.

As an opener; could you possibly explain how they’ve managed to swerve BenCap?

Are you asking us to believe that they receive that money in benefits? Also, what your brother does would affect whether your sister-in-law needs to work, would it not?

I don’t really care wether you believe me, but I can tell you for a fact that is what they receive between them.

No you are correct, not having worked and being unemployed is not the same thing, but I didn’t comment on that, I commented on the post that said about living on benefits etc.
I wouldn’t have a clue what bencap is as I have never had to claim so know nothing about the system.
What I do know is that it involves Pip(?)

What I’m saying is, if you include their rent being paid, payments they receive etc

My sister in law as never worked, she as been married 3 times and each of the men she as met and went onto marry had worked all their lives, the last one being a welder on good money, have all packed in work because my sister in law was in their ears telling them to finish as they would be better off on benefits, I know this isn't benefit cheating as this is what they are ENTITLED to, imo the system is fecked, the reason I say this is because regardless of what job anyone does i don't think anybody ( like for like family size) should be financially better off than somebody who goes to work, am I saying they shouldn't be looked after, no, I'm just saying when many choose a life on benefits than grafting then to me the system is on par with the judicial system, unfit for purpose

All from benefits? I assume from that money that your SIL is a registered carer so can't work and the car a motability one?

Is there any reason to think that they are not entitled to whatever benefits they receive?

Speaking of carers. One particular couple I know who's situation makes absolutely no sense to me has the husband as the carer for the wife who suffered from extreme anxiety etc and also the wife of the husband who coincidentally suffers from extreme anxiety. How can that be right in any way?

there is a benefit gap. What you describe is literally impossible. Course they could be finding their lifestyle by crime but that’s a different matter

No crime involved (as far as I know) and it’s clearly not impossible.

As far as I can gather Helen, she claims as a carer for all 3 kids and he claims as her carer, yes the car is a mobility one.

Tbh I don't know what people can claim, but can a carer also be the one being cared for ?
