    Wouldn’t have known for deffo with the 2mill buyout etc but knew his profile had grown and there was a possibility.
    With other vacancies being filled and not being first or even second choice at WBA Val wasn’t assured of a move to England at least and not many overseas teams would have fought to match the buyout .
    However Alex’s stock was very high with him being a free transfer and the season he’d just had being Captain as well .

    Didn't a bloke from barnsley own westbrom at one time or was he just the chairman ....sure I read it somewhere
