WSB - Mr Cryne & Mr Mansford join us for Q&A this Thursday.

I think it takes some b.llocks to offer their time to us, especially with how vocal we've (WSB aka me) been against them recently. Fair's fair.

 

I've no doubt they have the club and fans best interests at heart, but this "out of the blue" meeting all seems a little bit panicked in my opinion.

We've been chatting a little while about sorting something for the mag. I spoke to Ben the day after the sacking, on Saturday and again today so it's not something that's come completely out of the blue.

 

Hoping number 7 chuck us a couple of growlers on the bar.

The only way this club will progress is with extra investment on top of Crynes and a proper Board of Directors making a collective decision about things rather than what appears to be one man surrounded by yes men and mates/family making the decisions.

Is Mr Cryne still looking to sell the club and if this isn't likely would he be open to other investors joining the Board with him and buying shares in the club. Would he consider a fans collective owning a share of the Club. Why when every other club seems to attract some kind of investment is he finding it impossible to atttract anyone. Is it because he's separated all the assets from BFC and is refusing for these to be part of the deal.

If he could clear up his stance and his long term intentions for the club then the loyal fans may feel a bit more relaxed with the situation of his ownership as the last we were told a year or so ago was he would sell to the right person and was actively looking to sell.

Most fans feel the club is in limbo as no further statements have been made about Mr Crynes intentions , we just seem to plod along

Oh Dear !

Offspring is now a Blade. He won't be very happy at that.

Sooner would support the Pub Lakers. They may come good with a man at the helm who has a bit of a clue as to what he is doing.

 

My big question would be: what is going to change?

We've plodded along for the last eight years with no managerial continuity, and no true landmark signings on which to build a team going forward. As might be expected, this has led to a steady decline in playing standards, a fall in attendances, and the downwards spiral in which we now find ourselves. If we have a 'plan' and are going to stick to it please let me know and I'll get off here, as we can expect the same cycle to continue in it's downward trend.

If there are to be changes, please let me know what they are and I may consider whether to renew my interest next season. It's as simple as that.

I think you should reconsider. Imagine the japes you'd have with Brian the Blade slagging off Non league Nigel.

And of course the blunts never lose (unless cheated out of things by Wet Ham) and play the best brand of football since the Dutch total football team of the 70s.
