...... anybody know if you can buy these? Or anybody got one to sell? My lads is on the blink, seems like a dodgy wire cos sometimes the yellow light comes on and sometimes it doesn't. A few on e-bay around the £20 to £30 mark but can't find anybody selling them new. Suspect it might be another 'send off to Microsoft for an £80 repair' thing
I know that Microsoft have extended the warranty to three years because of the three red light problem - you could always try and get it fixed under the warranty - if it's included.
If not you could try gamesstation - they may have one

The 12 month warranty is up ................... ......... and don't think this problem will qualify under the 3 year 'red light' extension to the warranty. Nobody seems to be selling these power packs, it's obviously a microsoft ploy to keep control of replacing/fixing them at great expense! Might have to resort to an e-bay bid but the nearest one is 2 days away from closing, then there's the wait for delivery if I win the bid = one disgruntled and bored 11 year old!
Just had a look for you mate on google - can't find one Sorry! Good luck with your search - I'd give gamestation a go or maybe the market are therte any stores who do games stuff
No mate, he'll have to make do with either his ............ Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PS1, PS2, PSP or Gameboy until I sort it. Know what you mean though, chuffing Kids
