The annual charge is £39.99 (or it was) and you pay this when you register.

pretty easy to set up, and all registration is done through the 360. Some people set it up different to others. You still got all the instruction manuals etc?

You can get a wireless connector for the 360, which I believe is for this purpose???

All mine is done through a router, but my xbox is right next to the phone line. Quite a few others have 'live on here so maybe they have more info?

You will need a wireless connection of some sort - the easiest option is the X box 360 adaptor which you can get in Game for £60.

Then it depends what you have in terms of broadband. I have a wireless Modem so don't need a router. Just plug the wireless adaptor into the specific port at the back left of the X box and then use the menus to connect it.

You will need WEP code (or similar) to allow your X box to talk to your router / modem etc.

I am not technical in the slightest, but it is easy to do.

I am sure we have a number of geeks who could advise you better, and would argue that there are cheaper options - but it all seems too big a faff to me.
