Sorry, just being daft. In response to the original post i agree we do need a different type of midfielder to compliment what we've got. However, I'm with Whitey with regards to your comments on Mowatt - really can't understand him being labelled a coward.
We've also just sold the only decent set piece taker in the whole squad. The only one he's gone moncur free kicks maybe corners nobody.
Thats ******, I have it on good authority that Cameron McGeehan never forgets to put the right coloured bin out, and George Moncur is known to make very regular contributions to the local bottle bank
You can chase the ball as much as you want but it if you don't have someone who can find that pass or cut out that pass its worth nowt...
Was that the Gugenpressing then? Looked worryingly like a lot of last season's failings still in evidence to me.
If Mowatt can regain his early Leeds form he is more than capable & incidentally , to call someone a coward without evidence is bang out of order , even if you do not like the player , there is no need to be insultive
Agreed that a ball winning midfielder who can recycle would be nice but disagree with your assessment of those on the pitch.
Thought we looked good for the first ‘competive’ friendly against decent/very good opposition. Thought Moore was a monster. Ran them down, won headers, good movement. Bradshaw pressed but didn’t quite look at it. They aren’t going to click in a few weeks, but it looked very promising to me. Plenty of areas to improve mind. Which I thinks to be expected.
We need a ball player, give it and receive it we don't have one even. Ill post again in January unless things change.
