Serious question, but can someone explain to me why so many people seem so keen on Moore? He seems like a lovely fella, but I don't see anything in his managerial career to inspire confidence. What's his philosophy/style. I don't really follow Donny's results/highlights etc so really have no idea what to expect of him? Personally I'd like a manager with a strong playing style/identity. Was sad to see GS go tbh as he was a man with a plan. Not a fan of appointing someone because they had a run of decent results unless its backed up with a plan. Feels too much like things just fell into place for them, which happens sometimes (us '97) but it's just a matter of time before things change for the worse.
Struber had a system surely rather than a plan. Or if he did have a plan he was still secretly working on plan b! I am going on results with Moore and the fact that Donny are doing well this season. He appears to be able to get players to play . Plus everyone is saying we need a manager with Championship experience and he ticks that box.
He did an excellent job at West Brom & has got Donny firing on a low budget , why does that not inspire you with confidence ? He knows our club , he knows the championship & as a popular ex player he will have the fans on board , unlike an unknown foreign risk who will be slagged off by the fan base before he gets half way down Grove street.
I've said that from the start mate, it will be someone we've never heard of before. However, I also said the game last Saturday would never finish 2-2. What do I know?
