What's happened to him? Outspoken but valuable contributor to this form in my opinion. Hope he decides to return.
He left when a certain admin accused him of lighting the touch paper and standing back http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/reminder.260103/#post-2026423
agreed. As with you and other posters on this site, I haven’t always seen eye to eye with him, but he’s someone that you can have a mature debate with unlike other posters on this site.
I was on holiday when this occurred, so I'd no idea he'd left. I've had a fair number of 'debates' with him over the years, but he's always been a big favourite of mine. Hopefully, he'll return to the fold and he can continue to mercilessly take the mickey out of me.
Hadnt seen this either. Just to be clear, what topics are banned? Seem's he's better at flouncing than a lot of other posters on here.

Proper low key flounce off, i’d not seen it. Can I recommend for future stroppers: 1) Avoid half term. You’ve only to look at how much less traffic is on the road to see how much less busy it is everywhere. 2) Strop off on a well - viewed thread. Maybe one where Hemsworth Tyle recommends a 4 week old baby who’s dad dressed it in a Chelsea kit. 3) Use more provocative language as a parting shot. How are we going to notice if you don’t call someone a see you next Tuesday? 4) Leave with a wild accusation or ludicrous fake-death - see SheffTyke.
I hadnt seen it either - I was away on holiday too. I thought he had been quiet. I must admit although he sometimes annoyed me a bit with his posts I thought some his input was quite good and in some ways the board is poorer with him gone, even if the site admin job is a bit easier. Cant be bothered to trawl back and look at the history and hope at some point he comes back Note to others who want to flounce off - this is how to do it -just go away and stop posting /reading the board - no need to ask Site Admin to delete your account!
Under GDPR, I believe you need to be able to delete accounts and all associated posts on request from next May. Just so you know Also under GDPR, unless we get an adequacy decision (or are in the EU/EEA), you will be on dodgy legal ground if you store personal details of EU citizens (LDRed, Tomi, etc) from March 2019.
Definitely no where near a whitey flounce.. I didn't no tha'd gone I'm another that dunt agree with ..some of his views, but be"s a great auld poster.. Get thisen back on ST
