You haven't actually responded to anything with substance or any of my actual points in my initial post. Let me be clear- I don't like any politicians I think they are all corrupt snakes; so all I can go off is who I think will be better (or less worse) for the country- in my opinion Trump's policies are better, simple as that
As I say, there's no point. I've outlined my views, you've outlined yours. I've highlighted your views aren't moderate. I'm sure you'll dismiss that and believe they are. Obviously I fundamentally disagree.
Can I ask you, can you even vote for the US election? If so, great. If not, why are you so interested in shoving your views and opinions down other peoples throats? I don’t think you’ve ever heard or understood the concept of agreeing to disagree on any thread I’ve ever seen you comment in.
Where does he mention race? There were genuinely local reports of this happening btw according to Springfield Illinois' local media. Seems like a stupid statement based on a headline but I don't think it's racist
As I say, there's no point. I've outlined my views, you've outlined yours. I've highlighted your views aren't moderate. I'm sure you'll dismiss that and believe they are. Obviously I fundamentally disagree.
You really haven't though, you just keep telling me that "orange man bad," well I'm here to tell you that the other side is worse. What are your responses about my border control point then? Or the wars we are in? Or are you just going to keep slagging me off for saying I am moderate?
The jurors found Trump guilty of a lesser charge of sexual assault. In July 2023, the judge clarified that the jury had found Trump had raped E Jean Carroll according to the common definition of the word (which admittedly is different in America to here). In August 2023, the judge also ruled that the accusation of rape against Trump was substantially true. Saying that, the legal definition of rape was changed in New York at the turn of the year so that the assault now counts as rape but wouldn't have at the time of the incident.
I've not mentioned his orange face once. That's all you. And as I've said multiple times, whatever anyone replies, you won't accept it. So it's pointless. I've made multiple comments others have made multiple comments. You've placed your vote. We'll all have to endure the lunacy of the next 4 years. It is what it is.
Doubt it, like people have already stated on here, it wasn’t Trump wanting to end X, which hails free speech, in fact it was the opposing person. Tripped yourself up on that one buddy.
I'm open to debating about the actual policies. And as opposed to the last 4 years of utopia? I'd say the world has gotten significant worse. Come on then, what's your opinion on the Republican versus Democrat immigration policy
There were indeed genuine social media reports. It’s just what they were reporting wasn’t genuine. So. just to be clear, accusing Haitians of eating other people's pets isn't racist.
He was referring to Haitian immigrants. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c77l28myezko.amp Edit: Fair play I suppose for outlining your support for Trump. I can safely that I strongly disagree with most of your original post and think it included several misnomers and falsehoods - but thats politics innit.
If you're talking about the wife of the tory councillor, she tweeted out saying we should set fire to all the hotels housing asylum seekers. But that's only as far as the UK goes, obviously you being based in the US you'll have a better grasp on the feelings of the public and the overall situation so ill take your comments on board especially the nypost article you've linked me to. Once again though fair play on sticking to your guns and giving us reasons foe your vote, makes a refreshing change to the usual sh*te written on here by both sides of the political spectrum.
What is the republican immigration policy, other than building a wall that Mexico didn't pay for and deporting anyone that looks like an immigrant? I presume you earn under $340,000 per annum, so you are happy to pay more taxes? And what do you think the impact of tariffs would be on your daily life?
Erm.... I think you've muddled that yourself. The hard/populist right repeatedly state they aren't allowed to say what they think and are all for "free speech". That's the clarion call. So... "buddy"... i think you might be the one that's tripped.
I wasn't talking about her I think that definitely goes beyond the point of free speech so don't have a problem with that. I think his page on twitter was "sickofit" take a look for yourself- don't agree with everything he says on there but I definitely don't believe anything he said warrants an arrest
But it's not debate is it? You'll say some words. I'll say some words. You'll still think your views are moderate and Trump isn't what he is. I'll still think your views are far right and believe Trump is what he is. Other far right thinking people will agree with you. Non far right people will disagree with you. And there you have it... it's 2016 all over again.
More agents at the border is what is needed, or a way to vet these people coming in. Pay more taxes or move it from elsewhere, sure- but I think this is important. There are plenty of other areas they could take this money from without raising taxes, plenty of money being wasted as it is. And impact of tariffs? Depends on the sector and depends on the company. It's definitely a tricky one, tariffs would lead to more inflation in the short run but if done correctly would encourage more factories being built in the US, and then higher wagers for workers over here, more jobs, etc. Again, depends on the type of industry I would say
Honestly, your responses on nearly every post make me laugh. You give your opinion on everything and now someone’s willing to have an open debate with you on something you’re retracting. If that’s the case then why post anything in the first place? Is it so you feel good on the inside that you think you’re superior to people you don’t know on a forum?
