You really haven't though, you just keep telling me that "orange man bad," well I'm here to tell you that the other side is worse.

The jurors found Trump guilty of a lesser charge of sexual assault. In July 2023, the judge clarified that the jury had found Trump had raped E Jean Carroll according to the common definition of the word (which admittedly is different in America to here). In August 2023, the judge also ruled that the accusation of rape against Trump was substantially true.

Saying that, the legal definition of rape was changed in New York at the turn of the year so that the assault now counts as rape but wouldn't have at the time of the incident.

Erm.... I think you've muddled that yourself. The hard/populist right repeatedly state they aren't allowed to say what they think and are all for "free speech". That's the clarion call.

I wasn't talking about her I think that definitely goes beyond the point of free speech so don't have a problem with that. I think his page on twitter was "sickofit" take a look for yourself- don't agree with everything he says on there but I definitely don't believe anything he said warrants an arrest

 

But it's not debate is it? You'll say some words. I'll say some words. You'll still think your views are moderate and Trump isn't what he is. I'll still think your views are far right and believe Trump is what he is. Other far right thinking people will agree with you. Non far right people will disagree with you. And there you have it... it's 2016 all over again.

 

More agents at the border is what is needed, or a way to vet these people coming in. Pay more taxes or move it from elsewhere, sure- but I think this is important. There are plenty of other areas they could take this money from without raising taxes, plenty of money being wasted as it is.

And impact of tariffs? Depends on the sector and depends on the company. It's definitely a tricky one, tariffs would lead to more inflation in the short run but if done correctly would encourage more factories being built in the US, and then higher wagers for workers over here, more jobs, etc. Again, depends on the type of industry I would say

 

Honestly, your responses on nearly every post make me laugh. You give your opinion on everything and now someone’s willing to have an open debate with you on something you’re retracting. If that’s the case then why post anything in the first place? Is it so you feel good on the inside that you think you’re superior to people you don’t know on a forum?
