That's a very poor opinion . Just because I sugest it. That doesn't mean ,that is what I want. I hope we sell more season tickets, so CH get a proper go. In all honesty I will be pleasantly surprised if we do sell more.
Just to change the tune a bit from the normal doom and gloom around how many season tickets we've sold.. I've bought a season ticket for the very first time Whether it's nostalgia towards CH or whatever it is, I'm onboard! And if the fans get behind him and whatever players we have come August (big if I know) we might achieve something.
If the early bird has genuinely ended I look forward to the announcement of how many have sold, the reality will be easily see. In the availability map( no I’m not counting blue dots)
Too early to count blue dots as ST holders still have their seats reserved even if they have no intention of renewing (until 29th May)
Don’t think they’ll announce it tbh. Think it was 8600 last season, sure I’ve seen that figure somewhere? I’ll hazard a guess at around 6k max. That would be a 30% drop which is realistic I’d say.
This is true. All clubs, not just us, took the extra Sky dosh as they saw it as 'additional income'. Sad fact is, it is actually 'replacement income' as they never factored in the fact they would lose fans. Some of whom they will have lost for a long time. Speaking to a Wendy fan at work this morning, he is amazed I have paid only £399 (think his renewal was up in the £800+ range). He is contemplating not renewing, but has FOMO as they obviously have 42,000,000 fans ready to snap it up. We don't have that luxury. I mentioned the 'bring a friend for a tenner offer' we have, and he mentioned he might pop along. I had to remind him he is not a friend, just somebody I work with.
