I agree. If he thinks that was a good "shift" then that maybe part of the problem in that DC can't get the best out of the players

Now you're being stupid....No way are we paying them that. If they're on more than £4-5k a week I'll be surprised. So that's 200k per year....
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but no-one mentioned £500k. Cooper and O'Neil turned down 600k, so they're looking at close to 1 Mill per year....
Without checking, I'm sure Cooper has only been out of "work" for 6 months out of the last 6 or 7 years. Edit - and he was paid off from Forest...
