Maybe threads like this every week could prove beneficial to some folk, a good way to stop the moaning would be to reduce the prices.

I`m all for moaning, cos wiout it nowt would change much.

I've deliberately posted it on here as I know the club reads the forum. What is wrong with you? Of course it's Barnsley FC's fault that they've decided to increase an already inflated price by another £2 on match day. The club must love people like you, who will pay anything without questioning it.

Personally, I don't think any one outside the Premier League should pay more than £20 for a match day ticket....I voted with my feet years ago...I don't moan about over pricing cos I don't go any more.

Benj needs to get pompey red on the board and fast.

We need another clueless individual who clearly wants to price the occasional punter out of deciding to come down on the day.

Yet another sound business decision from Jokewell....I really don't know how these people manage to find their way to work every day, never mind make these astonishingly silly decisions. Probably the same people who sanctioned the latest tat available in the club shop.

Its the starting price that is the issue, I think £25 too much, but if I was prepared to go and pay £25, then an extra 2 quid wouldn't stop me.

It won't change while-ever people will begrudgingly pay it. My dad point blank refuses to go at all any more because of the cost. That's a shame for someone who has been watching them for 70-odd years.

ask yourself why its only bradford who are offering season tickets for £150? im willing to make an educated guess most clubs charge a premium for on the day prices, certainly on the days ive bought a ticket. you could have bought a season ticket at oakwell making it around £13 a game i believe. thats your choice however not mine. Choose how much you want to pay. if you notice i stated that £27 was far too much for football no matter what level it is at let alone ours.

im sure the club have made a business decision based on costings and financial figures that work for them. Im not going to tell them its wrong, i pay on the day too, usually on the gate at full whack so i know id love it to cheaper. Im also pretty sure they would love to have a full house with loyal fans paying £5 a game. that isnt going to happen though is it.

If you think the prices are sh*t dont bother.

Or maybe just discuss it on a relevant discussion board ?

I usually think that our team are sh#t so should I stop watching them because of that too ?

£2 can make a difference to some people though.
If it was £2 extra on the price of a pint of lager then people wouldn't pay it

perhaps those without the internet should be exempt from the online/pay on day price hike
i emailed the club thrice, twitterered them and facebolloxed to complain that i don't have this option to buy

I generally don't - and there lies the problem for BFC.

Pains me to say it but as things stand, I'll certainly have to think long and hard about giving up the best part of a day and paying that to watch Johnsons style of play
