Seen bits of this lad on youtube etc now, and he would offer us something we haven't got in the squad at all - an energy, movement, quick feet, willingness to take folk on through the centre of the park. Basically, the sort of industry that Williams brought to the table.

But of course, we need experience adding too. And I expect us to do that. As Dyson said further up, a player in the John Eustace mould would be perfect. In fact, when speaking to Ben in the summer, it was Eustace he mentioned saying "we need someone of that kind". Unfortunately, Eustace looks a key player for Derby. Saw him boss the game against Leeds t'other day. Reminded me of Bobby Hassell...

What about Sammy Clingan at Kilmarnock. Are we still able to compete with SPL clubs for players?

Not doing. I was just sharing clips of him for those interested.

I once created a video that made Jacob Mellis look like Frank Lampard.

He's experienced and very steady. 30 years old so a good age for us. Be ideal but I have no clue on his availability.

Another cracking player is Ryan Jack at Aberdeen. He fits in exactly with the type of players we're currently trying to recruit. 159 games under his belt at 22. Highly rated.

My favourite was the person who created a You Tube video before we signed Odejayi and it made him look like Shearer, Henry and Bergkamp all rolled into one. We thought we had a good one before we realised on footage clips you can make anyone look good :D

It was Frank Lampard Senior, he required neither. Only had to watch it on fast forward so Jacob looked as pacy as the 65 year old midfielder.

And he is looking at Europa League football next season where he is. Not sure that he would fancy the drop. Do you think his parents are Tom Clancy fans by any chance?

Like I said I'm not sure we can compete with SPL clubs whilst in this division. Which is a bit sad really.

I'm not a follower of Tom Clancy so wouldn't understand your reference.

Jack Ryan was the lead character in the Hunt for Red October and has been played by Harrison Ford, Alec Baldwin, Ben Affleck and now Chris Pine in films.
