I'll be honest mate I'm not concerned at all, I fully trust the powers that be to have suitable replacements lined up,
We don't have to pay extortianate wages if we continue following the path we are on. Recruit from the leagues below offering modest increases selling the club in terms of development and progression. It's the only viable model.
I'm in my 50th year of supporting the club and the reality is that I stopped having hope and dreams many years ago. I am bitterly disappointed every time we sell yet another asset and, in the past, have even threatened to withdraw my support. But I never have, and I guess it's too late to do so now, particularly given that my sons and grandkids have been indoctrinated. And the fact is that we live in a relatively small town, with a small catchment area, and with none of the infrastructure advantages that would appeal to potential investors. So we have to rely on a fan made good and on player sales. That's the reality, however frustrating. For what it's worth, I have a feeling that the win over Leeds was the 'high water mark' and that things are about to get significantly more difficult. Hope I'm wrong.
To be honest I don't know much about Bournemouth. Is it as difficult to get there from a major airport as it is from Manchester Airport to Barnsley?
Plenty of money at these sort of clubs. Scunny - Peter Swan £340 million Donny - Terry Bramall £425 million & Dick Watson £90 million Hudders - Dean Hoyle £154 million Rotherham - Tony Stewart & Family supposedly £100 million, claims to have ploughed £30 million into RUFC inc stadium funding Blackpool - Belokon £200m
Squirreling away those nuts for now, and then off we go gathering nuts in May, will we find where we have hidden em, Narr.
But why are we millions in debt? Because we are spending more than we bring in just like Sheffield Wednesday.
No... we make a loss on the yearly accounts, however PC uses his own money so we don't go into debt. Just like these fellas might do at Villa or Wednesday, or they may be using loans and running the club into debt.
Small-minded, that's all that's up with BFC. Think big and you can achieve big! (Falls on several thousand deaf ears yet again sigh )
