Friendlies mean nothing...BUT.. for the 2nd game running the whole of the defence set the alarm bells ringing again. The goalkeeper and the defence as a whole unit at Rotherham were a shambles and again at Stocksbridge collectively garbage. So against a League 2 side and a semi proffessional £50 quid a week team we look more shaky than Ozzy Osbourne at the back. Said it before....need to spend tht Butterfield money like yesterday on 2 big defenders with championship experience. Go and get McShane and Greer Mr Hill or else its groundhog day from last season again
Re: Friendlies mean nothing...BUT.. for the 2nd game running the whole of the defence We aren't supposed to read anything into friendlies but we've tried two defences in our last two games and neither looked strong. Keef needs to step up bringing in two experienced championship defenders quickly before it's too late. Foster for example has been part of a shocking defence for years but at this rate is still going to be a regular starter.
