To be fair, the £36 games are usually the ones with the greater away following. It's usually the price we charge for larger or local teams. So it would be 4,500 x 36 we'd be charging.

I do not think you have read what I put properly , what I was saying is that a match where it is £36 , there are concessions for that match which bring the average price for that game to £20 , for example , last saturday under 12"s were £5 , Under 22"s { a big category } was £10 & over 60"s was reduced as well ,so there was only one category paying £36 thus reducing the average seat for that match to £20 , therefore 4,500 x £20 is a reflection of the price for that game

 

Ahh, misunderstood it a little. When you referred to categories I thought you meant A, B, C, D etc, not concessions.

 

You are clearly incapable of seeing things from anyone else's perspective. A half season ticket is a ridiculous suggestion in the circumstances I've presented (someone who can get to 10 games maximum per season). Only on planet MDG, would I be missing all my games in the first half of the season, making it worthwhile to buy a season ticket for the second half. The flexi-ticket can work for some people, if they can get their mates on board with it as well, otherwise prices will still be an issue for the group. They don't go on sale until October though, so you miss the first two months of the season. They also go off sale in November, so the likelihood is that you'll only get one five game ticket. A job in BFC marketing beckons for you. You have the main attribute. The ability to put your head up your own backside.

 

Problem is I’ve been charged that twice now when it’s the only game I could make. I tried to avoid one but I ended up attending cos the Forest game got called off. Concession prices don’t really help me.

Before you start jumping to stupid childish conclusions about how able I am to see things from other peoples perspective, I did actually email the club last season with an idea of issuing a flexible season ticket where you pay for a 13 games so half a season (no reserved seat for the season) and attend any 13 matches in a season (seat picked online). Obviously this then shouldn't discourage from buying a season ticket on the whole so I suggested setting this at say £20 per match paid at start of season (£260).Then for any other matches after that they could top up online for £22 allowing for any additional admin or £20 if no other costs are taken on due to this. This still gives the normal season ticket holders the best deal as it should but offers a halfway house so to speak.

So think on before you start with being critical of my character pal before considering your own. I was a big fan of the twenty is plenty scheme which this would allow our own fans to take advantage of...

But I wouldn't change the matchday pricing just to cater for someone who might just turn up twice a season.

Just looked at other threads where others have not shared your own opinion. Like I just said, shows you to be childish and incapable of a holding a sensible discussion. Come back when you grow up.

 

Thankfully I've decided not to go. Would have had to set off from Ayrshire at around 4am to stand any chance of getting there for kick off & given the ticket price I can't be arsed. Will listen on the drive back instead.

 

Who is your nearest club.. Have a soft spot for any other clubs when you can't get to Oakwell?
