While that shirt looks ok and I hope it sells I do have to wonder how exactly it is a 125 shirt when we didn't have that kit 125 years ago :S

I personally think that a 125 shirt should be in the colours shown in the other picture but with either no badge or simply with BFC embroided where the badge should be. The shirt wiseman is wearing should be sold as simply a retro BFC shirt (of which there should be many more in the range), again just with BFC embroided.

The badge ruins it for me personally but I hope it sells well and i'm sure it will.

As a side note, Scott's done well to get within 10 feet of the shirt. I'm impressed.

I'll have one mate, XXL. Don't really want that bloke wearing it though coming with it as a freebie. Sure I've seen him committing crimes against football in the recent past . . . .

Let me know when/where you want the brass.

I think it would have been better to make replicas of the first shirt we used, and the first badge we used,

also i would have used the name of every player who as ever played for Barnsley fc and printed them in the shirt like they did with a 3rd kit a few years ago using the names of season ticket holders,

The sad thing about all this is that the money raised will not even match the money the club threw away on Saturday with it's pathetic, embarrassing, amateur performance on the turnstyles.

Programme lads will have had loads of change, remembrance day collectors will have had loads of change, the club shop, box office, refreshment stands and home turnstyles will have had loads of change and if they all magically ran out i'm sure some huddersfield fans will have had change who could have been moved to the front of the queue to give change before the others bought their tickets.

    No excuse.

Because that is the sad reality of being a Barnsley fan isn't it. No matter how much effort people put in to raising money or trying to improve things the club never fail to do something totally amateurish that undoes all the hard work.

What is the point in raising money when the club throws it away by doing daft things like this?

    hmm
    Thread about money making scheme.
Post highlighting the fact that this money making scheme's efforts have been hit by the clubs incompetence.

It definitely seems like the right thread to me.

I agree. We're a business and we're skint so losing money regardless of how much or why is just not excusable.
