Except that half of it is wasted through leakage because dividends are paid to share holders rather than investing in repair and maintenance.

Read into that as also Railways , Public Transport etc .
The Tories remedies is for private enterprise but as we all know private enterprise is profit first . No problem with profit being made and investment being rewarded but the maintainance of the investment must be paramount ,then investment rewards not vice versa .

In a nutshell, this government is wa* k, they only look after their own and the sooner they are gone the better but I have little faith in the clowns that voted them in last time won't vote them in again once their political propaganda kicks in:rolleyes:

I’ve had several texts over Christmas from my GPs telling me there are no non-emergency appointments for tomorrow. Then on Tuesday they just said no routine GP appointments “until further notice”. Wonder how many cancers will be missed or heart attacks not prevented?

FFS. I've just had to go to 4 pharmacies in Leeds before getting antibiotics for my daughter. Lots of places have run out.

The “rejigging” of clause 4 by Tony Blair where Labours commitment to nationalisation was effectively dropped was a real low point for me.

Health service is that far gone, its probably a decade minimum to bring it up to any sort of standard.

Even if we had more doctors and nurses up at Barnsley, at one point last week there was 1 free bed in the entire hospital.

If anything I think Barnsley has outgrown the current setup with all the new housing l. We probably need another state of the art Hospital building l, even then unless the current **** show is resolved we couldn't staff it.

Freddos are far too expensive nowadays for what they are.
