1st match just 22 days away ..........

The thing is , that now everybody has purchased their season tickets, and no big signings have been made, surely the club is laughing all the way to the bank with a record season ticket sales.

Just amagine purchasing four or five quality premiership or championship players before the end of the June deadline. After the initial hullabaloo and when all the good earth as stopped shaking the fans are bored and there are still 2 months to go before the season starts. Then are they good enough to be in the sacred red shirt of BarnsleyFC, as Davey made the right purchases. Two months to go and we are a full squad and raring to go, but will this side be good enough?
Now three weeks on and the only sign of new players, is a young lad from York and a goalkeeper who has been around abit. I think the managment team have on this occasion been so right, over the next few weeks , before the Wednesday match Davey will bring in quality players, he hasn't rushed, those players will keep us in the championship without struggling for a forth year, and like him or hate him he will still be the manager of BarnsleyFC until the end of this coming season.
