2/1 Now For A Top 6 Finish

Defence is a worry along with lack of no9 depth.
DKD must play and it seems so should DMG.
Cleary may be able to play as a 9 I guess, he has the right physicality.

 

Just finished watching it.

Plenty of positives, quite a few glaring issues too. Great to get off to a good start points wise but I do think the 6 points is papering over some cracks.

Nice to see more bravery in receiving the ball and I like the look of Bland. And positive having players willing to run with it, and not just wide too.

Is it a top six side? We need to get the other side of the transfer window and play the better teams to see. I'd say we're more top half than bottom half currently. And we have to have someone to replace McGoldrick. We can't expect him to last 90 minutes every week at his age.

 

Worryingly Conor didn’t seem to think CF was a priority when asked at the press conference this afternoon. Maybe he was just playing his cards close to his chest. Let’s hope so cos I’d say CF should be a priority but after a CH…..assuming no one leaves that is. Sadly I expect one of our major players will.
