Will you? Will you think of me and quietly laugh to yourself? You're kind of running out of steam aren't you? Are all pikeys as yellow as you?
RE: Bloody hell! Have to admit we commented it on the way out as well. The stand holds at least 6000 and it was well over half full. We thought it was a bit strange! :S
RE: Bloody hell! The police have advised the club that the figure was infact 4300 give or take a few dozen and that will be the figure used as the official away attendance (the one that goes in our programmes/on the website etc).
4,000+ easy. last season 4,500 at least barnsleys figures WAY out on both occasions in my opinion. for what reason i wouldnt even like to speculate
PMSL there were 2900 from pikeyville The stand holding 6000 was about half full. Loads of empty seats at back of stand and 1st three rows empty. Take your conspiracy theories elsewhere.
there were hundreds of shocked faces in oakwell today when the figure was announced literally hundreds. were they all imagining extra donny fans?
I thought the stand held 7,000, so I was a bit confused But after reading that it holds 6,000 I think it looked about right. The barrier used to section off the stand was about two thirds of the way across, so even if it was full to capacity in that section there could only have been 4,000. But there were many empty seats dotted around plus huge gaps behind the pillars and towards the front. If every 4th seat is empty a stand still looks full. The club have to give correct figures for health and safety reasons. 'kin 'ell. What a load of boring old *****
it wasd probably the angle of the view you had that caused the confusion - those east Stand Upper seats have a habit of giving distorted views Must admit we thought there looked to be about 3,500 plus in the North Stand, but then again, maybe our view (East Stand Lower, 10 rows from front, about 10 yards inside half towards Ponty End) was distorted too, especially as ioho Kay got what he deserved with the red card - late, dangerous challenge and a stupid thing to do. Bottom line is, despite the 10 men battling really hard, we were not good enough overall to get anything from the game.
Why don't you all just **** off. Last year and now this year too, you all come on this board like you've nothing better to do. It probably WAS 2,900. But if it was 5,000 who gives a ****? What does it prove? Do you honestly think we haven't taken 5,000 to an away game before? We don't manage it often these days because we seem to find ourselves playing ***** like Doncaster Rovers every week - hardly likely to inspire mass turn-outs is it? Nobody can fecking stand you, from your ****** of a Chairman right down to your troglodyte fans, we can't wait to see the fecking backs of you. And if we have to lose at Bell Vue again before it finally happens, then so be it.
4,000 yer say? The entire population of Bell End, View in one stand... I wouldn't be boasting.
RE: Will you? Will you think of me and quietly laugh to yourself? Not as yellow as you dingle inbreds who feel it necessary to fiddle the away attendance to make it look as though you have more home supporters than you really have!! Talk about delusions of grandeur of a 'big club'!!ff
Yes, that's it. We fiddled the attendance because we're scared of you and because we think we're massive.
Don't they teach you anything in Donnie schools. You were THERE last year not 'their' last year. You Biff.
why would someone from barnsley not have an oxford education just shows up your small mindedness really.
How would Doncaster fans know what 4,000 of their supporters look like ? Most of them have never seen that many people in one place ! except maybe at the dome when swimming is half price.
