I’m not sure we have, or will ever have, the funds to have a full squad of players who could start every game in a season for us. We need to have some players that are only expected to fill in when needed.

That said, I’m not fussed about either Palmer or Adeboyejo.

Vic is lovely bloke off the pitch so I'm informed the trouble for me with Vic is he takes that image and attitude on to the pitch
He's wasnt rough or tough enough to be up front in the championship let alone league1, first touch like a donkey mind you can't knock is work rate though I will give him that ..Palmer on the other hand whilst i don't know what he's like off the field of play.
I know on it, in my opinion, last season he was just down right lazy both in his attitude and work rate...who knows maybe it was down to the coaching staff but something wasn't right....fresh start for both parties might be best in both cases...I wish them well and hold no malice and thank them both for their time at oakwell

Personally I’m sorry to see them both go. Vic has a lot more skill than you normally get in a big man and it’s a pity he didn’t put the ball in the net. As for Palmer, he’s a young man who I hoped would come through and he still might. In our present position with restrictions on wages and a lowered budget every player has to do the job now to get us back to where we belong.
Good luck to both of them and I hope they go on to make us regret letting them go.

Disagree, in the sense, we need cover for in case of injuries. Players fighting for places. One of the main gripes on here last season was the weakness of the bench. Not sure we'd need cover for each position. But certainly an experienced forward. Midfielder. Defensive player. The rest of the subs from the academy working their way through the ranks.
I believe Iseka could start given someone to play at the side of. So a squad of 18/20 experienced seniors. (Not all based on age.) and the rest from the academy.
Victor and Palmer. Neither would be an obvious starter for me, so best if they move on.
But at the end of the day. Players need to be brought in. Prior or in the knowledge of signing before we leave ourselves wanting. And leaving a weaker squad.

Duff wanted to evaluate their body language so he wasn't happy to see them on a sun lounger having an Arnold Shank.

I’d rather Adeboyejo stayed. Good option, especially with Woodrow and maybe Moreis going

Can't disagree with this. My 8 year old has more shithousery and strength in him than Vic will ever have. Sorry to say but thank goodness he's on his way. Still can't get over Conman signing Cole on a 5 year deal. We'd be lucky if anyone took him.
