Let's say the powers that be weren't sure we'd sell out. It's easy in hindsight to say that wouldn't happen but there were those on here who didn't before it all started.

Scenario one. They allow only one per season ticket holder, half of them sell, the rest go on sale and don't sell out.

Scenario two. They allow two. Season ticket holders buy one for themselves and one for their wives, girlfriends or mates who fancy sitting with them to watch Liverpool. Et voila! a much better chance of selling out.

Windy, the game would have sold out one per season ticket holder without this farce.

RE: It's 1:1 at Huddersfield for the Chelsea Game

This was the system adopted by Huddersfield according to a friend:

    1. Season ticket holders who are Partons or Blue and White Foundation members or have 5 away ticket stubs
    2. Season ticket holders
    3. Partons or Blue and White Foundation members or have 5 away ticket stubs
    4. General Sale

All nice and orderly there, no mad rush and like you said 1 ticket per season ticket.

Possibly true but even the mastermind himself has admitted (according to reports on here) that scenario 2 was a big mistake. poor judgement again.

and for the Millennium where they refused to sell Lower Tier until all Upper Tier had gone - even to the point of refusing a pregnant lady a Lower Tier ticket. (The turnstile operator suggesting she should stay at home).

The Club is a joke. FACT.

RE: It's 1:1 at Huddersfield for the Chelsea Game

Huddersfield have been light years ahead of us at marketing their club for years now.
They introduced cheap season tickets for children years ago before BFC finally embraced the idea only last year.
