I'm sure if you offer to buy them all tickets (coach as well, don't forget) we'll get a lot more people there. I'm getting a bit sick of this 'disappointing' talk to be honest (not just you). People will already be feeling pretty sh*t that they can't afford to go without having to constantly being guilt tripped and made to feel that they are letting peope down.
A lot of fans will have made other plans , holidays etc . Plus a lot have had no time to save up or pay due to paydays etc
Don't get all the disappointing stuff myself. People go if they can afford it and if they can't they don't. I paid for the tickets of 6 mates who wouldn't have been able to go as there pay day is Tursday I'm sure there are plenty more in the same boat. It's not all black and white. Why do we care about attendances we aren't Wednesday after all.
I think it's safe to say we would have easily broken the 25k mark if we had only the play off final, we took more to Cardiff in the last league one final and we've slightly bigger crowds this season than that year. Our Wembley crowds have gone from 36k-33k-23k-21k.
I think therein lies part of the answer. It's our 4th Wembley visit in a lot of people's lifetimes. It's Wednesday's first visit for 23 years.
As I said, I'm not having a go at anyone, everyone's situation is different, but that's the same for Plymouth, Wimbledon and Hull fans etc etc. I'm not "guilt tripping" anyone, or even think that people who aren't going are letting anyone down, it was merely a comment about the attendance figures.
Still, they both sold their allocations of which they were given 28k iirc Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
