    Pretty nothing tournament compared to the Euros, disappointed that the USA have selected to bring a B team but looking forward to hopefully seeing Dike get some game time he's on the bench tonight against Haiti.
    Mexico got a 0-0 tie with Trinidad&Tobago and I guess the intrigue is maybe a smaller team has a chance this year. Alphonso Davies for Canada is the best player in the tournament, Jamaica are looking to improve so we'll see.

    It seems we cared more about the nations league and I know I'm a casual but I'm still not entirely sure what the nations league is or why it exists but yeah, we were great there. World cup qualification is the most important thing but should still be a relatively fun tournament. Again, it won't come close to the Euros but there's still always some fun games to watch. This might just turn into a thread of just me spamming alone but whatever haha.

    So Qatar almost throw it away against El Salvador but they're actually not a bad team and go into the semi finals. Mexico vs. Honduras now and two nice games tomorrow.

    Is the Gold Cup the North and Central American equivalent of the euros?

    I've thought for years now that they should expand the Copa America to include the whole continent. It would be really good, as at the moment it's just the same teams over and over again, plus the radoms they sometimes invite (USA and Mexico - very logical, Japan - less so). It would also be very beneficial to to USA national team to have proper competition against strong sides on a regular basis. Ditto Mexico, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica.

    Canada defeat Trinidad 2-0 in a very scrappy game and go into the Semis.

    USA-Jamaica has been very competitive, 0-0 at half time Jamaica look the more hungry team and possibly could've been leading. Dike is starting for the USA as he has since game 2.

    @Merde Tete 100% couldn't agree more.

    EDIT: USA get the 1-0 win but it was a competitive game throughout. It's nice to see teams like Jamaica and Canada improving, very proud of the USA as it's a B team but showing so much heart.

    The semi finals are
    Mexico vs. Canada
    USA vs. Qatar

    Good to hear that Dike has been starting. Has he been having much impact on games?
