    Never heard of Thorpe or Balatoni (mentioned on another thread), although I know of Talbot from Chesterfield. Therefore, based on my experiences of the past 12 months with regards to incoming transfers, I hope we sign the two young defenders.:D
    Then again, it also shows I'm an old, forgetful bugger who knows nowt abart football!

    That's the first transfer rumour that's got me interested. He would be a bloody unbelievable capture. Man United fans think he's excellent and should be ahead of Blackett and McNair. But if United sign a couple of centre backs he won't get a sniff. He'll be 7th or 8th choice. And at 22 he's not a kid.

    Seeing as he's not proved it in 1st team football then a top L1(being optimistic!) is a better bet than a bottom championship struggling team.

    Come on Maurice. Get on blower and pull off a massive coup.

    Because I'm excited this is exactly why it won't happen! But that Balatoni lad sounds good. Jags fans on their forum think he's decent.
