    I can’t remember if anything was said about leaving Jones out but it’s certainly baffling. He was way ahead of Brown in every aspect of the game. Hard to blame one man for a defeat but to have got so close to promotion and failing was hard to take.

    I don't think the main failure was in the Play-Off final to be honest. We blew automatic as far as I was concerned.

    I remember Ipswich being very very lucky in the Semi finals against Bolton.
    And as we had a bad record against them, I always thought they/Ipswich were going to be the harder of the two teams.
    But if that pen goes in and its 2-1 at half time, or if the header goes in and its 3-3 with extra time to come... well it could have been so different.
