    You mean like my posts about the family tragically killed in the fire.whose family were stranded in Cyprus. Many on here said **** em. That wasn't my.opinion I was the one who said people should show some compassion

    How would you deal with the savage cuts from central government - Liverpool council in similar position after having millions cut from its funding

    I've just been discussing these huge losses of staff and the roles that they carried out in nurseries, children's centres, school's etc in Barnsley with my colleagues. The outcome of the job losses has been a huge increase in demand upon social services as many of those staff were employed to identify problems early on and to find solutions before they escalate.

    I imagine the effect of such cuts won't be apparent in the short term, but will hit much harder in the longer term.
