I know what you are saying whitey But the majority voted out . You might not like that but nothing anything can do so might as well deal with it . What choice does anyone have now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I understand that But what can anyone who voted remain do about it now Moan for the rest of their life's or get on with it ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm not arguing against the decision. Democracy innit? I don't like it though. I didn't vote for it. I'm worried. And so it's a bit **** reading so many Leavers posting stuff like "deal with it, gerron wi it, tough ****" etc.
Wow, talk about getting it wrong.... It's the opposite actually.. 1 Euro is not worth more than 1 Pound travel rate is approx 1.20 euros to the pound.. You were right lol, you don't know much.
I'm my defense, I copped for my mistake later on in the thread hours ago. And yeah, I know nowt Or maybe it's defence? See? Nowt
Well said. I personally know an old guy who is retired and extremely wealthy so has no money worries whatsoever. He has voted to leave despite the fact that more than likely it will lead to his son losing his very Europe reliant job
I disagree with my parents all the time but on issues that will affect them not me I'm not selfish so I'd put their wants and needs ahead of my opinion. It's what you do for family.
My friend has just confided in me that she is gutted that she strongly suspects that her parents both voted leave (as of course is their right). However, she has worked in Luxembourg for the last 6 years and is in a serious long term relationship with a Frenchman who also works in Luxembourg. She was planning on coming home (and he with her) eventually but now it may make it more difficult for him to move to England with her. She is considering applying for dual citizenship so that they could both potentially live there or marrying (whch they have been discussing anyway before Brexit) so that they can live together in England. The best bit is that her dad is also planning to retire in France!
It's amazing isn't it how short sighted some people are and how selfish they are as well when they know full well that they are voting for something that negatively affects their children for decades to come but prioritise their desires even though they know they don't have to live with it
Exactly and that's why I voted Leave...for my son and his children to have the right to be in a free and independent country , rather than just a state of a unified federation . There are no doubt many reasons of purely self interest , where I agree selfishness could play a part.. ( and that includes young voters too) but I assure you my vote was not for selfish reasons. As a matter of interest though on the subject of age groups my son was saying, the people in the College he works at were predominantly Remain, although his circle of friends were mainly Leave .
I would say though JD you're friend is narked for a particular selfish (not meant offensively ) reason...this referendum is purely a political decision that affects the future of the whole country and millions of people , without being flippant your friends personal marriage issues is not a great political cause but a matter of personal convenience.
Well yeah, she's far from daft, in fact she's one of the most intelligent people I know and obviously realises that. It still stings a bit that her own parents would do that though.
