You can say Hayes did create the goal but it was still a good flick on by Conlon, which you disagreed with because apparently it just hit the top of his head  and Conlon didnt have to do owt...</p>

Well done. Glad we finally got to the route of it. Conlon made the goal, it was all his work and I'm having a dig at him for doing so. Huzzah. Let's do this again some time.

look fella im one of conlons biggest defenders on here, but jays right,it was a decent flick on to hayes, but he still had a lot of work to do make himself a bit of space to chip the keeper(Y)

Yes, I agree Hayes made the goal and full praise for him for that but all I'm saying is Conlon made a good flick on which Jay disagree's with......</p>

 

I don't Wayne

The flick-on went to the right place which makes it a good one in my book. But a well executed flick-on when thrown so accurately to Conlon is bread and butter for him. He executed it very well, but it wasn't an amazing piece of skill. You used a Hayes wonder goal as an example to SM and Redstar of why Conlon is a good footballer. Doesn't add it up to me. When Conlon scores a great goal, which I'm sure he will (he's scored some good ones before), use that as an example, this was all about Hayes.

Which is what he is there to do and what he did perfectly on this occasion.
