Just back from Brighton - I don't think we can say we are in a relegation fight, because fight is one thing that it is clearly lacking, along with an entire defence. Yesterday was embarassing - an average team that haven't scored in three games, ran riot.

Gonzalez - joke, please just go now. Stones - promising youngster but will have bad games until he has the necessary experience, shame he was left totally exposed against Bridge and Noone by Etuhu/Pep. Foster - nice bloke, good servant, used to be one of my favourite players, no longer capable of operating at this level, needs a free to League 2 to finish his career. Wiseman - not a right back, definitely not a centre back, Rochdale - please take him back. Golbourne - inconsistent at best.

Jacob Mellis should never be given a shirt again on yesterday's evidence when he couldn't be bothered to come over and take two corners, leaving Davies having to do it himself - add to that being spectacularly unfit and having no heart at all. Etuhu - why is he a pro footballer? - what does he do, doesn't run, doesn't mark, no control, no skill? Harewood - the worst bits of both Mellis and Etuhu combined. Dawson - honest trier but out of his depth, Cywka - some nice touches but never a wide left player.

Stronger players and stronger characters needed in this squad over the next five days Pep.

I appreciate your opinion because you paid your money and went but the problem is that we don't appear to have the money for these stronger players with stronger characters. Equally, I don't really think it has a great deal to do with character, take Wayne bridge, his character is sitting on his arse and doing nothing usually.

I agree with a lot of your criticisms but I don't agree with your solution, it isn't possible we cant afford it and tats why we're signing cranie rather than greer (do you think if brighton wanted one of our better players then theywould be going away empty handed?) Get everyone fit and we might have a chance but did anyone expect anything from the last two games? If we start getting regularly turned over at home then maybe worry but even then a hint of realism needs to be attached.
