    As for remembering everyone's clock number and payroll knowledge, my wife always insisted it simply showed me as the Stocksbridge version of Rain Man!!

    If you came out walking with us you wouldn't be grumpy for long, the walking is very hard up on them moors but the banter between us silly owd sods is hillarious. I jest not when I say it's like last of the summer wine.:D:D:D:D

    When I was 30 I got ****ed out of my mind.Life over. I am 76 now. Play golf and Crown green bowls and have supported the reds since 1946 (on and off). Have a great marriage Life is what you make it

    Thanks mate. Laura is improving, bit by bit. My son is recuperating in Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital, after having surgery on a collapsed lung yesterday. Once he's fit enough to come home, my wife & I can really relax.

    Didn't know that about your son, you and yours are having a rough time, I can only stand back and admire your resiliance. It seems so little, but I wish you all the best for the future, you have faced more heart ache than most of us on here can contemplate, I just hope that in the future you and your family will be able to live a life free of health problems and enjoy life to the full.

    What a lovely thing to say, thank you mate.
    However, there are a great many people who have it far worse than us. I'm certainly not going to complain. Actually, I'm very grateful and fortunate to have the family that I do. I consider myself very lucky.
