I'm glad to see at least, that the families of those who were 'attacked' by the police, have spoken. And they have called for calm now, and an end to these pointless protests.
Andy Burnham has urged people not to rush to judgement.. no we've seen both sides of the story now we can judge. I was saying it was wrong after seeing the 1st footage now I don't have much sympathy.
Just seen the video and it's horrendous what they did. Doesn't justify kicking a prone tasered guy in the head though. Hopefully he hasn't cost the prosecution.
Who released it? Was it officially released or is it just the media getting their grubby mitts on it by any means? If it's the latter then it's all about generating the most clicks. I can't get my head around how a video of an incident like this ends up in sight of the general public in the 1st place. It's a bit like the drone footage of the accident site that killed that poor girl's family last week. We really shouldn't be seeing stuff like that. The fact that in this case the context changes so much depending on which bit you see emphasizes the danger. They came close to rioting at Rochdale Police Station on the back of what first video.
