I think there is cause to raise issue when we have seen how we are playing; nothing like the intesity of last season so far...but a long time to go
If you to ask me if some of this members of the board would turn on Flitcroft after a four poor league games... er yes. This man had almost universal god status amongst the fans at the end of last season. His utterances were ascribed the same validity as if Moses had brought them down from Mount Sinai. Now in my opinion he wasn't the messiah then and he's not a very naughty boy now. I'm just waiting for the comments to become of a personal nature towards him because trust me, a couple more bad performances they will. My view ? I'm not happy with some of his decisions and I'm not a happy clappy, but I come from a time when managers were given time before the advent of instant gratification. My plea ? Give the guy a fair crack of the whip and let's show something that is sadly lacking in the modern game, some loyalty
Watch the highlights, we did have a shot on target via Scotland. Also, we'd just been thumped by Wigan and played poorly in the cup - I honestly think we were trying to play a solid game and limit them to get our season up and running. Just typical that we conceded at the death!
